Hey, I just wanted to create a place where we all could talk about the plans for a Pokemon League and see where we wanted to head with this. I figure having our own Forum without having to check back threw a bunch of GameFaqs messages would be beneficial, and we could all converse together on what we really want out of either A. Making our own league or B. Joining another league.
As of now we have had 7 people (including me) confirm they want to be gym leaders, more people are welcome and I'm still sending out/ waiting for responses to people who posted on the original Gamefaqs thread.
The reason I would personally enjoy a more open style with more gyms and less badge requirement has already been stated by another on that post but I'll reiterate it would be allow the league to be more accessible to people and open to larger ideas.
Some people had talked about regionalism added into our league, but I figure it be better to just start with one League for now.
On the other hand we could easily join another group and follow their rules, which may restrict some of the ideas we have that might benefit a League. One that has been mentioned is docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AkO49vANXZqzdFNCc0hpUWJhWHE1NXBzNjB2ZWpqOWc&gid=1 which seems alright although kinda lacking the Elite 4 and champion idea, more over only having separate decisions within the one league where you have to beat 8 people for each league is kinda odd.
Anyways, I just wanted a better place where we could converse for now, please jot down any ideas you have here, If we do decide to carry further i want to give each Gym it's own forum so they can accept challengers in that format, I'm not sure if anybody would want to design little badges for people but I think that would be a cool idea to give to people after they beat a gym, maybe we could just use some pre made badges. Anyways thanks for joining and lets try and get the ball rolling
